Louisville Slugger Museum, one of the most visited attractions in Kentucky, is also housed with the corporate headquarters of Hillerich & Bradsby Company. The location is marked by the world's biggest baseball bat that casually leans against the side of the building. Hillerich & Bradsby manufacture Louisville Slugger wooden baseball bats as well as other sporting equipment for baseball, golf and hockey. Professional baseball players continue to have their bats custom made at the wood bat manufacturing facility. In 2000, Hillerich & Bradsby teamed up with a local hand surgeon to create the company s newest division known as Bionic Gloves. The combination resulted in the creation of technologically advanced protection for hands in the form of hockey gloves, baseball fielding gloves, gardening gloves and golf gloves. The company operates from nine locations across North America.
