Lexington Center

Lexington Center Corporation is a nonprofit corporation appointed by the Lexington Fayette Urban County government to manage and maintain a number of facilities that include the Rupp Arena, an entertainment center; the Lexington Opera House, a vintage theater that can seat more than 1,000; Lexington Convention Center; and the Shops at Lexington Center, a 75,000-square-foot shopping mall. Hotels, restaurants, and leisure accommodations are easily accessible. Rupp Arena is the home of the University of Kentucky Wildcat basketball and host to many sold-out concerts. It is also used for special events, receptions and conferences. The Lexington Opera House is an ideal setting for performing arts events. The Lexington Convention Center is equipped with meeting and exhibit space, ballrooms, conventions, meetings, trade and consumer shows.
