Hamilton is a city in Greenwood County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 268. The city was named in honor of Alexander Hamilton, first Secretary of the Treasury.
The city should not be confused with Hamilton County.
Hamilton is located at 37°58′52″N 96°9′45″W / 37.98111°N 96.1625°W / 37.98111; -96.1625 (37.981244, -96.162605). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.3 square miles (0.8 km²), all of it land.
