Hanover is a city in Washington County, Kansas, United States. The population was 653 at the 2000 census.
Hanover is located at 39°53′27″N 96°52′31″W / 39.89083°N 96.87528°W / 39.89083; -96.87528 (39.890836, -96.875348). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km²), all of it land.
