Rose Hill is a city in Butler County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 3,931.
Rose Hill is located at 37°34′5″N 97°8′1″W / 37.56806°N 97.13361°W / 37.56806; -97.13361 (37.567951, -97.133719). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.6 square miles (4.1 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there are 3,432 people, 1,039 households, and 906 families residing in the city. The population density is 2,151.0 people per square mile (828.2/km²). There are 1,098 housing units at an average density of 688.2 per square mile (265.0/km²).
