Wakefield is a city in Clay County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 980.
Wakefield is located at 39°12′58″N 97°0′55″W / 39.21611°N 97.01528°W / 39.21611; -97.01528 (39.216228, -97.015244). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.2 km²), all of it land.
