Ball is a town in Rapides Parish just north of Pineville, Louisiana, United States. It is part of the Alexandria, Louisiana Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 3,681 at the 2000 census.
State Representative Chris Hazel, a Republican, resides there.
Ball was the birthplace of Frank Estes Cole, and educator and football coach in Richland and Sabine parishes who served in both houses of the Louisiana State Legislature between 1944 and 1960.
