Ryan Elementary School, located in Baton Rouge, La., teaches more than 400 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It is a part of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, which is one of the largest school systems in Louisiana. The district operates over 85 educational institutions with a total enrollment of nearly 46,500 students. Ryan Elementary School offers academic classes in a variety of subjects, such as English, language arts, math, science, social studies, reading, writing, vocabulary, art, music, and health and physical education. It provides food, transportation, counseling and health care services. Ryan Elementary School employs a staff of approximately 45 full-time certified teachers, paraprofessionals, reading coaches, custodians, a guidance counselor, technology coordinator, librarian and speech therapist.
