The Caddo District Attorney Office is responsible for prosecuting felony and misdemeanor crimes in the Caddo Parish District in Louisiana. It focuses on promoting high ethical standards, professionalism and competent legal representation. The office employs an administrator and administrative assistant, as well as more than 30 assistant district attorneys, over 10 investigators and nearly 35 support staff personnel. The Caddo District Attorney Office operates pretrial diversion, victim and witness, domestic violence and sexual assault, hot check and white collar crimes sections. It also operates a child support division and sex crimes and homicide screening units. The Caddo District Attorney Office s appellate division functions as a custodian for public records and criminal files.
