Soyez, Tara NP

Melissa received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in New Orleans, LA. Prior to obtaining a Master of Nursing degree from LSUHSC, she obtained experience in the ICU and the step down ICU. Melissa has over 6 years of experience as a Primary Care Provider. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Lisa Brewer, NP, specializes in internal medicine at Ochsner Health. They address a broad spectrum of health concerns, including routine wellness, chronic conditions and sudden illnesses. They offer services like annual physical exams, immunizations, lab tests, joint injections, preventative care and health screenings.

Dr. Fernandez graduated summa cum laude from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia, and earned her medical degree from LSU where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her internship and residency at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She is board certified in internal medicine and has been on staff at Ochsner since the Summer of 2001.
