I love this beach so much and go all the time, it is beautiful! I do wish it was a little cleaner in the summer, (especially in the water) because it does get super busy, and it's a little gross...

During a run today I stopped by Bayview to get a drink, Many thanks to the nice young lifeguard who offered me a bottled water while I was waiting to use the hose, he was so polite and help full....

We traveled on this vacation with our dog, some beaches in Maine don't allow dogs, this was perfect for us. All the other dog owners are very respectful of the rules and kept their dogs on leashes...

A wonderful walking beach in the off season. You pass Ferry Beach State Park (which had a gate across the road) and you will arrive at Bayview. Park for free (off-season) at the lot on the left...
