The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association, also known as AAIA, is a trade association that represents the automotive aftermarket. With more than 23,000 members and affiliates, the association manufactures, distributes and sells motor vehicle parts, accessories, tools, equipment, materials and supplies. It represents over 100,000 repair shops, parts stores and distribution outlets. The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association was formed in 1999 by a partnership between the Automotive Parts & Accessories Association (APAA) and the Automotive Service Industry Association (ASIA). The association s educational and training programs include networking and conference events and market research reports and analyses. It is located in Bethesda, Md.
