Michael Ehmann, MD MPH MS FACEP is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. He is Program Director of the Emergency Medicine and Combined Emergency Medicine-Anesthesiology residency programs.Dr. Ehmann graduated from medical and graduate school in New Orleans before completing the Johns Hopkins Emergency Medicine residency where he was Chief Resident. He was a Focused Advanced Specialized Training (FAST) fellow in Disaster Medicine during his final year of residency and joined the Emergency Medicine faculty in 2016. He has been in Emergency Medicine residency leadership since 2017 and assumed the Program Director role in 2023.Dr. Ehmann's interests include medical student and resident education, acute kidney injury in the Emergency Department, and the clinical practice of emergency medicine. Dr. Ehmann treats patients in the Emergency Departments of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
