Soft Stuff Ice Cream, a family-owned business in Ellicott City, MD, first opened its doors in May 1984, inspired by the founder's vacation experiences at Rehoboth Beach. Originally established by the Weal family, the shop quickly became a beloved destination for local families, offering quality ice cream at fair prices with generous portions.

After a temporary closure in 2012 for redevelopment, Soft Stuff has reopened in a new, larger location within the Forest Green Center, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating.
