Ashfield Lake House

Nice "dive". Not fancy at all, but the service was good and the food was decent. My wife and I both had the fried haddock and enjoyed it.

New owners. Walked in. Was seated at the bar, then ignored by three staff standing at the side station. Walked out. Tacky dump now. So sad to see what they've done to a really magical spot.

The food was ok but I would recommend that the manager of this restaurant do some really basic training for the staff. That is about the nicest thing I can say. It is in a lovely location...
