Paratronix was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in September of 1981. Owned and operated by Larry and Eleanor Habershaw, Paratronix originated as a management buyout of the former NovaTran Corp s East Coast division. Located in Attleboro, Mass., the company occupies a 15,000-square-foot facility. The plant is located 35 miles south of Boston and 12 miles north of Providence, R.I., close to I-95. Paratronix is a supplier of Parylene conformal coating services. The company operates a full range of Parylene coating machines that will accommodate all types of products, from full production to small engineering runs. In addition, the company s horizontal Parylene coating machines offer a tumble coating process that is cost efficient and provides a 48-hour turn around. From small metal tubes or pins that need corrosion resistance or electrical isolation to plastic and rubber parts that require chemical resistivity and dry film lubricity, Parylene provides the needed protection. Paratronix also employs vertical Parylene coating machines that are used to coat fixtured products, such as military and commercial electronics, medical devices and sensors.
