<p>Established in 1638, the cemetery at Old Burial Hill is among the oldest in the country. It was also the site of Marblehead's first meetinghouse, and the final resting place of some 600 soldiers who fought in the Revolutionary War.</p> <p>Rubbing Permits are issued by the town's <a href="http://www.marblehead.org/index.aspx?NID=16">Cemetery Commission</a> and can be purchased at the office at the Waterside Cemetery.</p>
