<p>The Inspectional Services Department is responsible for enforcing building, housing, health, sanitation and safety regulations mandated by city and state governments. The department oversees all activities related to building permits, zoning reviews, safety inspections and the licensure of food establishments.</p> <p>The Department's Environmental Services office is also responsible for overseeing and enforcing laws and ordinances related to trash storage and pickup as well as rodent control.</p>
