The Professional Center for Child Development is a community-based facility that specializes in early intervention, pediatric therapy and parent support services. It employs more than 70 staff members, including developmental educators, certified special education teachers, registered nurses, therapists, pathologists, nutritionists, licensed social workers and bilingual support personnel. The center also operates a private day school for children with special needs. Its school is licensed by Massachusetts Department of Education and offers coordinated educational, therapeutic, social and referral services for children in the age group of 3 to 7 years.
