Eliot-Pearson Children's School is a laboratory-demonstration school affiliated with the Department of Child Development at Tufts University. The school serves as a model and demonstration facility that provides a training and observation site for new and experienced teachers and a research facility for faculty and supervised students in the department. It enrolls approximately 80 students and serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade two. Eliot-Pearson Children's School s curriculum includes literacy, mathematics, social studies, art, and natural, physical and social sciences. The school s language arts curriculum helps to develop listening, speaking, literature, writing and reading skills. Founded in 1922, it is located in Medford, Mass.
