Jonesville is a village in Fayette Township, Hillsdale County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,337 at the 2000 census.

The village was founded in 1828 at a stop along the famous Sauk Trail.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.8 square miles (7.1 km²), of which, 2.7 square miles (7.1 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (1.09%) is water.
