Riverview is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 13,272 at the time of the 2000 census.
The city is a suburb in the Metro Detroit area, located along the shore of the Detroit River. It measures 11.4 km² (4.4 square miles) in area. Riverview incorporated as a village in 1922 and as a city in 1959. There are rail lines through the city.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.5 square miles (11.7 km²), of which, 4.4 square miles (11.4 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) of it (2.65%) is water. The main road is Fort Street (M-85).
