The Alpine Motel is under new ownership and has been completely redecorated as of June 2015. It is a great place for tourists who are looking for that true up-north experience. Knotty pine interiors and half log siding exteriors are a common theme found in our resort. We are surrounded by thousands of acres of Manistee National Forest. The Pere Marquette River, which boasts world-class brown trout, salmon and steelhead fishing is a 3/4 mile walk through the woods from the property, or drive to it as well. Snowmobilers can ride from the property to hundreds of miles of groomed trails. Hunting is also very poular in the area. The North Country Trail crosses through mutiple states, is open to hikers and mountain bikers and is just down the road. Let us be your go-to destination for all your up-north vacations!
