Established in 1953, Adult Well-Being Services provides independent living services. It provides various services to people with developmental disabilities that includes, family support groups, partial day activity services, respite and supported employment, and support coordination. It also provides mental health services, including case management, guardianship, nursing home staff training, outpatient counseling, partial day activity services, small group mental health treatment, and substance abuse treatment. Its services for senior citizens include the Butzel Senior Center Support Program, community information and referrals, caregivers education and support program, escorted transportation, Empowerment Zone/Hannan Senior Service Center programs, health promotion and substance abuse prevention, grandparents raising grandchildren support services, outreach support services, an intergenerational computer lab, and respite care.
