Founded in 1978, Living Alternatives for the Developmentally Disabled is a Michigan-based nonprofit tax-exempt human services corporation. It offers residential community-oriented support services to people with disabilities, as well as case management and assisted living services. The corporation offers community living, adult care, and personal and social services and related programs. In addition, Living Alternatives for the Developmentally Disabled provides person-centered planning that empowers people who receive support in community settings. It maintains a staff of more than 225 individuals and over 125 guardians. The corporation operates an assisted living facility, Meadowview Estates, which offers a 24-hour service and operates various licensed residential homes.
