The City of Warren in Michigan has more than five fire stations serving the public 24 hours, 365 days per year. The Warren Fire Department operates the Warren Fire Prevention Division, which provides classes on fire safety in the home, school and workplace to civic groups, schools and organizations. Recently, the department purchased new ladder trucks. These new ladder trucks feature 85-foot platforms. The platforms can carry up to four people in fire or rescue situations. With a 2,000 gallon per minute capability, these trucks provide greater extinguishment capability for property preservation and firefighter safety.
