Grand Rapids Community College is one of the leading providers of higher education in the United States. Operational for more than 90 years, GRCC offers specialized programs in vocational and instrumental music, mathematics and scientific research. The college provides more than 50 graduation majors, including teaching certifications, concentrations and preprofessional fields. It enrolls more than 3,000 students annually, and offers over 25 intercollegiate athletic teams. Grand Rapids Community College s courses include American racial and multicultural studies, art and art history, biology, biomedical technology, integrative studies, classics, foreign languages and literature, exercise science, environmental studies, and family and social services. The college also offers courses in Hispanic studies, linguistics, business management, media communications, medieval studies, neuroscience, and philosophy and religion.
