David Doan III, PA-C

Megan has always had a passion for education and caregiving. She enjoys primary care because it gives her the opportunity to help care for patients in their times of need, while also providing preventative care throughout their lives. She believes strongly that people are the captain of their own ship, but sometimes need guidance on how to steer. She loves being able to provide support to help patients gain control over their health and work toward a healthy and happy future. From her parents, Megan learned the value of hard work and chasing her dreams to become a physician assistant. Both went back to school to get their bachelor’s and master’s degrees while raising and caring for Megan and her siblings.

Danielle chose to become a Physician Assistant to pursue her passion for helping others, and her affinity for working with children made pediatrics a natural fit. She finds fulfillment in building lasting relationships with patients and families and appreciates the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives. In her free time, Danielle enjoys reading, walking her dog, and spending time with her family. She is also learning to play the piano and has a professional interest in managing allergies and asthma. Previously, Danielle volunteered at a children’s hospital, an experience that deepened her commitment to serving her community.

“I've always loved kids,” explains Dr Simpson. She spent her young adulthood working at youth camps. When she completed medical school, she knew pediatrics would be incredibly fulfilling. It is a challenging career where she can regularly interact with children and their families in hopes of building stronger, healthier families. Dr Simpson was inspired to pursue her career in medicine from her mom, a single mother who raised two kids and completed a college degree. Outside of work, Dr Simpson enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. She enjoys reading, working out (boxing, soccer and weight training) and attending University of Michigan football and basketball games.
