We went here before the Red wings game on NYE and I was very happy with this choice! They had good selection on beers, great food as we ordered some appetizers and our bar tender was super nice...

Firebird is a casual restaurant-bar in downtown Detroit, featuring approachable yet elevated food and drink. Since 2013, we’ve aimed to provide locals and out-of-towners with a warm, lively and inviting spot to meet, dine, drink and dance. Stop in for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late(ish)-night dining. We love bourbon, tequila and craft beers, and you can find plenty at our neighborhood establishment. Situated in a historic building that has been carefully restored and modernized, Firebird features two floors for dining and private events and can host nearly 250 guests. We are a casual, neighborhood joint and therefore do not take dining reservations; all seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Great vibes. The bar is my favorite spot to sit after the game or while in Greek town. Small bar food menu available. Good cocktails.

The website say they closed at midnight! Yet on opening day Friday 4/4/25, they closed b4 10pm! My party of 7 made it all the way there to be stopped at the entrance! Even the security was...
