Thomas A Edison Elementary School

Founded in 1965, Thomas A. Edison Elementary School serves more than 450 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school also serves hearing impaired students. Additionally, Thomas A. Edison Elementary School offers a variety of support programs, including speech, resource room, reading recovery, special instruction and social work programs. The school s parent-teacher association sponsors school book fairs, author visits, special assemblies, and accelerated reader, Adopt-A-Book and annual reflections programs. In addition, it organizes various extracurricular activities, such as an art club, family science night, recorder class, student council, field day and ice-cream social. Thomas A.
