CRWP was founded in 1990 through the hard work of concerned citizens and through support of the Nature Conservancy, Minnesota Board of Soil and Water Resources, and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. CRWP is a 501 ( C ) ( 3 ) non-profit organization ( view CRWP's IRS non-profit confirmation letter, click here ). Programs are focused on conservation, water quality monitoring, and educational opportunities. Throughout the watershed, these programs are carried out with the cooperation of volunteers, farmers, local businesses and industry, schools and colleges, and with the assistance of some 400 CRWP members.CRWP's strategic plan explains more about our organization ; our values, vision and mission ; and our program focus.
