HistoryI started Art by Heather in 2017 in Grand Forks ND shortly after moving to ND I found an art group for veteran artists Arts for Vets they encouraged and pushed me to pursue my hobby as an painter not just for myself but as a business. So after some successful artshows I began my journey. I took a veterans entrepreneurship bootcamp as well as help from VBOC in getting started. I know work alongside Arts for Vets as a board member as well as having my own studio space downtown as well as a website and numerous awards ..including a public display downtown at the metro transit center on kittsona avenueSpecialtiesBy Appointment Only: I am a fluid artist or pour painting artist. My pour paintings convey emotion through color and movement.
