The West St. Paul Police Department works to safeguard lives and property, maintain law and order, and preserve peace through the enforcement of local, state and federal laws. It is comprised of more than 30 sworn police officers and civilian volunteers. The department operates records, administration and investigation divisions. The West St. Paul Police Department maintains a communication division that coordinates responses to police, fire, and medical emergency and nonemergency calls.
