Red Tail Project

The CAF Red Tail Squadron is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization committed to educating the public about the history and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen, who were America's first black military pilots, along with their support personnel. Through a three-fold outreach program that includes a restored WWII-era P-51C Mustang and the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit, the squadron promotes inspiring messages rooted in the principles of overcoming adversity.

Each year, the squadron embarks on a nine-month cross-country tour, participating in various air shows, schools, museums, and community events. The RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit features an immersive film experience that enlightens audiences on the Tuskegee Airmen's triumphs while encouraging youth to embrace the squadron's Six Guiding Principles.
