Hubert Olson Middle School is one of the schools governed by the Bloomington Public Schools. It serves more than 500 students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as English, mathematics, science, social studies, arts, foreign languages and physical education. It also conducts programs for English language learners and children who are suffering from physical disabilities. Its Galaxy site program is an after school program for middle school students. The school also has a variety of students activities, such as the Pageturners Book Club, science Olympiad, math team, Snowriders Snowboard and Ski Club, Cougar Council, jazz band and diversity committee.
