Carlos Elementary School is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and recreational opportunities for the social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of more than 120 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school is spread over an area of more than 15 acres and is located in Carlos, Minn. It provides instruction in science, mathematics, reading, geography, art, physical education and computer studies. Established in 1958, Carlos Elementary School conducts book fairs, conferences, field trips, dance performances and picnics. The school operates a library that maintains a collection of several electronic and print resources. It is a part of Alexandria Public Schools Independent school District 206, which operates middle, elementary and high schools.
