Moorhead High School provides educational instruction to students from grades nine through 12. The school enrolls more than 1,500 students, and is governed by the Moorhead Area Public Schools District. It offers required and elective classes to students in English, math, science, social studies, health education, business studies, music, fine arts and physical education. The school s elective courses include world language, computers, industrial technology, journalism, family and consumer science, band, choir and orchestra classes. Located in Moorhead, Minn., the school has athletic teams for various sports, including cross country, football, soccer, swimming, volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, hockey, wrestling, baseball, track and filed, golf, softball and tennis. The school s ninth grade center comprises three learning communities of ninth graders who work with four core teachers for language arts, math, science and social studies.
