Located in New Ulm, Minn., Martin Luther College has been operational for more than 100 years. Owned and operated by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, the college enrolls more than 1,500 students annually. Founded through merger of Dr. Martin Luther College and Northwestern College, it has a faculty of more than 100 Christian educators. It is approved by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Martin Luther College offers courses in a wide variety of areas, such as theology, preaching, Christian education, Old Testament, New Testament, missions, and Christian Ministry. The college also offers specializations courses in adult discipleship, campus, child care, children's, church planting, cross-cultural family, preaching, student and women's ministries, Bible and psychology. Additionally, it provides associate degrees in the areas of music and worship, early childhood, elementary and secondary education, and nursing.
