Saint Louis, MO
Bevo Mill is a neighborhood located in South St. Louis, Missouri.
The name comes from the "Bevo Mill" building, an area landmark since 1917 (located at the intersection of Morganford and Gravois). "Bevo" was the brand name for a formerly popular near beer manufactured by Anheuser-Busch. Today much of the neighborhood is populated with recent immigrants, particularly from Bosnia and Croatia.
The area is bordered to the north by Chippewa (named after the Native American tribe), to the east by the old railroad tracks, to the southeast by Morganford and Bates, to the southwest by Holly Hills, and to the west by Christy and Kingshighway.
