History

Geek Werkz has been in business since May of 2002. We have serviced over 20,000 clients. Geek Werkz was started by Jim Spencer after being laid off from Sprint in February 2002 after 12 years of service. He has been in the IT field since his junior year in high schoolin 1975. He bought his first computer in 1980, An Atari 800. Dual 5.25 floppy drives and 48K RAM. Upgraded to 56k for a mere $175 2 weeks later. He has not been without a PC ever since. He migrated from Atari to IBM in 1994 and has never looked back. He built his first PC in 1995 and has never owned a prebuilt unit. As a result we excel at building High Quality custom, made to order Computers. At it's peak, Geek Werkz employed 11 field service techs and 4 store techs. We started the business as an In Home PC Service and Support company and even though the store has closed, We continue to be primarily and In home PC Service and Support company.

We are an experienced and affordable Computer Repair service dedicated to outstanding customer service. We come to your home or small office to fix your computer ensuring that it runs smoothly. We have been in business for over 14 years and have encountered almost every problem a computer can have. We encourage you to sit with us to help you understand what we are doing and perhaps solve the problems yourself next time. Phone help is always free and if we cannot help you that way we can, most times, schedule a service tech for next day service. We custom build new computers and most of the time have used PC's ready for immediate delivery. Custom computers require a 50% deposit and a 7 day delivery time (for proper burn in).
