John Glenn Elementary School

John Glenn Elementary School is a learning center that offers a variety of academic options to students in kindergarten through grade six. It provides counseling services and operates reader and educational clubs. The school features a library that has a collection of books, Internet resources and magazines. John Glenn Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher organization that conducts several fundraising activities and special programs, including carnivals, meetings and family nights. It also offers milk, french fries, popcorn chicken, cheesecake, fruit, mixed vegetables and nachos for lunch and breakfast. The school supplies a variety of stationary items, including pens, rulers, pencils, folders, erasers, markers, crayons, scissors and notebooks. John J. Pershing Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade six. The school also conducts classes in art, music, physical education, library skills, reading, writing, science and computer applications. John J. Pershing Elementary School also supplies crayons, watercolors, notebooks, scissors, glue sticks and boxes. The school has a cafeteria that serves lunch and breakfast to students. John J. Pershing Elementary School has a library and media center that offers several books and encyclopedias and dictionaries. Located in St. Joseph, Mo., the school is governed by St. Joseph School District, which in addition operates elementary, middle and high schools.

Robidoux Middle School s facilities include a library media center, outdoor classroom, courtyard area, cafeteria, sports field, administrative offices, computer and science laboratories, more than 25 classrooms, and art and music rooms. It is named after Joseph Robidoux, who was a trader and founder of St. Joseph, Mo., where the school is located. Robidoux Middle School has an annual enrollment of over 350 students in grades seven and eight. The school employs a staff of nearly 50 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes special education aides, speech therapists, social workers, instructional coaches, art and music professionals, and health and physical education instructors. Robidoux Middle School, built in 1974, is a part of the St. Joseph School District.
