History

Cotter Travel opened in April of 1985 in St Joseph Missouri by Robert (Bob) H. Cotter. Cotter Travel opened a Maryville Missouri location in 1986 and a Bethany Missouri location in 1988. The Maryville and Bethany location were eventually combined in with the St Joseph office. Cotter Travel had a travel school approved by the Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education from 1988 to 2003. All the staff at Cotter Travel with the exception of 1 attended and graduated from Cotter School of Travel. Cotter Travel has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for 29 years. The 5 person staff at Cotter Travel has a combined work experience with Cotter Travel of 90 years.
