Garden City Township is a township in Blue Earth County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 700 as of the 2000 census.

The township is home to the Blue Earth County Fair.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 34.9 square miles (90.4 km²), of which 33.1 square miles (85.7 km²) is land and 1.8 square miles (4.7 km²) (5.21%) is water.

The southeast three-quarters of the city of Lake Crystal is within this township geographically but is a separate entity.
