Lester Prairie is a city in McLeod County, Minnesota, United States, along the South Fork of the Crow River. The population was 1,730 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.9 km²), all of it land. County Highways 1, 9, and 23 are the main routes in the community. Minnesota State Highway 7 is in close proximity to the city.
