The library offers information about the state s natural resources and heritage. It focuses on improving public library services and preserving state publications. In addition, Montana State Library promotes cooperation among all the libraries in Montana. It has a digital library division that maintains a catalogued and supported collection that is brokered by information science and content specialists. The library provides a range of materials for those individuals who are not able to read traditional print ed books. Montana State Library also houses its own recording studio. It is located in Helena, Mont.
