Established in 1936, Showdown Ski Area, located in Neihart, Mont., operates skiing centers and recreational parks. It offers sports and recreational activities for children and families. Showdown Ski Area has been operational for more than 70 years and provides season passes for individuals and families. It additionally provides skiing rental equipment, such as snowboards, boots, poles, and Telemark ski boots, snowshoes, goggles, snowbikes and Salomon snowblades and bags. Showdown additionally offers various programs for skiers of all age groups, such as Holiday Camps, Youth Snow League and Team Extreme. Its Holiday Camps program provides basic lessons to children for snow sports and helps them to learn skiing and riding skills with the aid of professional instructors. It also offers Showdown- Big Bear Freestyle program that provides training to skiers of ages 12 to 18 years for improving skiing skills and participation in skiing competitions. Showdown Ski Area also operates a pro shop that offers men s and women s apparel, hats, sunscreen lotions and hand gloves.

Great hill with all natural snow. Quite a variety of runs from basic greens to black diamonds. Very cozy, old fashioned ski hill feel. Best on weekdays!
