Walhalla is a city in Pembina County, North Dakota in the United States. It sits on the banks of the Pembina River, five miles (8 km) from the border with Canada. The population was 996 at the 2010 census. Walhalla was founded in 1871.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km²), of which, 1.0 square miles (2.7 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (1.87%) is water.
