Madison is a city in and the county seat of Madison County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Norfolk, Nebraska Micropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 2,367 at the 2000 census.

Madison is located at 41°49?39?N 97°27?25?W / 41.8275°N 97.45694°W / 41.8275; -97.45694 (41.827527, -97.456875), just west of the junction of U.S. Route 81 and Nebraska Highway 32.
