The New Hampshire Philharmonic Orchestra is the state's oldest orchestra, tracing its origins back to 1895. The orchestra presents a series of concerts at the Seifert Performing Arts Center in Salem. From the classics, such as Beethoven and Tchaikovsky, to our annual Holiday Pops, to music from film and Broadway, the orchestra provides compelling performances for audiences of all ages.

I saw the orchestra perform at the Stockbridge Theater in Derry. It is easy to get to from Bypass 28. I was shocked at how few people attend their concerts. The orchestra is small, but the...
