Aura Elementary

Established in 1927, Aura Elementary School serves more than 400 students from prekindergarten through grade six. The school offers various special programs to students, including gifted and talented program, chorus, instrumental music, library family night, basic skills instruction and drug awareness resistance education. It provides a wide range of academic courses in computer instruction, music, art, math, science, social studies, foreign language, English, and health and physical education. The school provides accelerated reader program that is a curriculum-based assessment to enable teachers to monitor quantity and quality of reading practice engaged in by the students. Aura Elementary School is affiliated with the Elk Township School District and is located in Elk Township, N.J.
